The industry highlight 2021: denkmal Russia-Moscow
We are pleased that denkmal Russia-Moscow will take place from October 21 to 23, 2021 again in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. We are looking forward to welcome exhibitors, visitors, experts from all over the world to our sixth edition of denkmal Russia-Moscow.
The denkmal Russia-Moscow is without a doubt the industry event of 2021 in Russia for everyone who works in the field of restoration, monument preservation and renovation of old buildings as well as in museums. It is considered to be the leading event in Eastern Europe. Around 180 experts from Russia and abroad guarantee an exciting congress programme and a growing attraction for visitors from many parts of Russia. Live demonstrations, an international competition for young restorers as well as an ICOMOS Russia conference are among the highlights of denkmal Russia-Moscow 2021 and ensure a high level of interest.
Traditionally, the trade fair is officially opened by the Russian Minister of Culture and the Lord Mayors of Moscow and Leipzig, which underlines the importance of the denkmal in terms of industry policy. The directors and employees of the heritage authorities of Moscow, St Petersburg and other regions and cities in Russia are also on site, as are the Association of Restorers and other Heritage Protection and Restoration Organizations who invite their members to visit the exhibition and their own events.
At the last denkmal Russia-Moscow in November 2019, a total number of 3,600 restorers, craftsmen, architects, builders, developers, students and representatives of local governments (2017: 3,450) visited the denkmal in the heart of Moscow and found out about the goods and services of the 110 exhibitors (2017: 106). A total of 19 exhibitors from Germany took part - including restorers, architects, suppliers of measuring devices, glass, natural paints and construction chemicals as well as restoration technologies and materials. For the fifth time, there will be an official German Pavilion offering especially favorable terms to participating exhibitors. Russia opens its border to more and more countries to enter the country unhindered without quarantine.
denkmal Russia-Moscow has been taking place every two years in the Russian capital since 2011 and is organized by Leipzig Messe International on the based on the experiences of Leipziger Messe organizing Europe’s leading trade fair for restoration "denkmal in Leipzig" for 17 years now.
